History Series: 5 de Mayo
As our first History Series work, we’ve chosen to highlight the world famous, and mostly misunderstood date in Mexican history, 5 de Mayo. Often mistaken as Mexican Independence Day (actually September 16th, 1810), it is celebrated around the world in recognition of Mexican culture. But because it is so often wrongly thought of as Mexican Independence Day, we thought we would help lift the veil of confusion, and show our international friends a bit of what 5 de Mayo actually is. We are happy to guide you through the printing and framing process, should you want it.
